Mohamed Melehi

Painter and founding member of the Casablanca School, a modernist movement that emerged in the 1960s. Known for his iconic wave motifs and vibrant use of colour, Melehi was a central figure in reshaping Moroccan art in the post-independence era. His works are held by the Tate, Centre Pompidou, and Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art.
